Raworth Tennis Centre sits on a beautiful 4 acre site, which is also home to the Morpeth Lodge Motel and both make up The Hunter Tennis Resort.
The Tennis Centre operates from 5 synthetic grass courts.
There is also an Exercise site adjacent to one court for use by the players as part of their fitness program.
Spectators can watch from shady benches or from the Wimbledon Gazebo whilst younger family members are welcome to play in the recently constructed play area with sandpit.
The current coaching program includes our Tiny Tiger and Tiny Tot Programs for our very youngest players, to New Starters, Improvers, Academy players, Teen Group, Adult Beginners and Adult Intermediate. Also regularly at the Centre are our Ladies Mornings on Mondays and Thursdays, Wednesday Night Advanced Competition and Friday Night Social Tennis.
The variety of Coaches and assistants here mean that the Centre can offer coaching for every player, from juniors from the age of 3 years upwards, to advance/elite players, both adult and junior.

The Raworth Tennis Centre Program includes delivering tennis to school, both here at the Resort, and also and the schools themselves. We have coaches and coaching assistants qualified to deliver the After School Program:

The Active After-school Communities (AASC) program is a national initiative of the Australian Sports Commission that provides primary school children with access to free, sport and other structured physical activity programs in the after-school time slot of 3.00pm to 5.30pm. Hunter Tennis Resort is a recognized organization of the AASC program. Find out more about the AASC program on the AASC Internet site.
We are also able to send coaches to schools through the Kids Tennis Foundation Program. This is a charity organization designed to send coaches in to under-privileged schools, where the students might otherwise not get the opportunity to experience sports such as tennis due to financial restraints.
The Centre has a band of extremely valuable coaching assistants in Sonja Anderson (currently looking at training for her Level 1), Lucy Bullent, Jessie Melmeth and Kirsty Hatton whose help on court means that all our Programs run simply and smoothly.
